Mount Taigetos in Laconia. A view from our farm
Taygetos is the highest and most magnificent mountain of the Peloponnese. It has an altitude of over 2,100 metres. The photo you see in this article was taken from our field in mid-January, after a beautiful snowfall. How lucky we are to pick olives and have this view and how much we love this mountain. Every year visitors from every corner of Europe visit the mountain. Apart from the beautiful waterfalls, the beautiful villages and forests, most visitors go to the top of the mountain, the famous pyramid where you can see all the way to Laconia, and deep in the sea you can see Crete.
