Dear friends of the Berlin Oil Connection,<\/strong><\/p>\n I hope you and your families and friends are all doing well. As every year, I\u2019m reaching out once again to ask for your support so that the new harvest\u2019s olive oil can make its way to Berlin through the pre-order campaign. As you already know, this is a demanding and costly process. The moment \u2014although a bit delayed\u2014 has now come again this year.<\/p>\n The reason I waited before opening the campaign was that I first wanted to make sure everything had gone well. Nature, as you know, always has surprises, and one can never be certain in advance. As you can see in the photo, the first litres are already in my storage, and despite the difficulties of this year\u2019s harvest, we were once again lucky. The olive oil is of excellent quality \u2014as it is every year. In Laconia, my family and our friends already have it on their tables; and since I stayed in Berlin these past months due to a heavy workload, I admit I\u2019m a little jealous.<\/p>\n As always, after production the olive oil is stored for a short period in stainless-steel tanks with a conical bottom. We do this because we prefer not to filter it and thus avoid losing any of its valuable characteristics. For that reason, it needs a bit of time before it reaches Berlin. Typically, the 5-litre cans arrive in February.<\/p>\n Many of you \u2014especially at the Saturday Schillermarkt\u2014 have already asked me when this year\u2019s pre-order campaign will open. Well, that moment has arrived. Since we already have 480 litres from the new harvest, I decided to start the process. It\u2019s important for me that you write to me as soon as possible with the number of 5-litre cans you need for yourselves, your families, and your friends. That way I\u2019ll have a clear picture of how many cans I need to bring to Berlin. As you know, production is limited; the olive grove yields a specific quantity each year, so timely information is crucial.<\/p>\n I\u2019ve already opened a new database and noted down some of you, but I expect to have a complete overview in the coming days. As for the price, it will remain at last year\u2019s level.<\/p>\n So please send me your full name, phone number, email address, and the quantity you\u2019d like at info@berlinoilconnection.de<\/strong><\/p>\n .
